Maitake (Grifola frondosa) extract – 120 capsules from McMyco contain an extract of maitake, a mushroom with the scientific name Grifola frondosa. In Dutch, this mushroom is also known as ‘eikhaas’. Each capsule contains 400 mg of full-spectrum maitake extract.

What is maitake?

Maitake is the common name for the mushroom Grifola frondosa. This species grows naturally on deciduous trees and is recognisable by the many overlapping, fan-shaped parts that make up its fruiting body. Maitake is found in Asia, Europe and North America, amongst other places. The name ‘maitake’ originates from Japanese.

How the extract is made

This is a full-spectrum extract, obtained through extraction with water and ethanol. According to the product specification, the extract contains 30% beta-glucans.

Directions for use
