Peyote is one of the oldest psychedelic Cactus on earth. Peyote cacti have been found in tombs and depicted in caves dating back to 4000 BC. The Aztecs revered and respected the magic of Peyote cactus. After ingestion, the user was said to be in contact with the divine and able to communicate with their ancestors. They also used Peyote for spiritual self-development and to detect-or remedy-diseases and ailments. Peyote is more powerful than San Pedro and was already used over 5,500 years ago by the Indigenous Central American peoples such as the Mexica, Huichol and Navajo people. The Peyote is a powerful mind-altering mescaline cactus. Stuck negative thought patterns can be broken with the use of Mescaline cactus. This is because the Peyote is powerful enough to provide the user with insights that allow them to recognise negative patterns and break them. The Peyote is more powerful than the San Pedro cactus.

The effects of the Mescaline Peyote cactus

The effects of this little ball cannot be called recreational and for this reason we recommend using this cactus only in a familiar quiet environment, such as your living room. We also always recommend inviting a trip sitter if you are planning a wonderful spiritual journey using Mescaline as a vehicle. A trip sitter is a sober person who can assist you during the trip. Peyote has strong antibacterial properties and can even kill bacteria resistant to penicillins. The Mescaline in Peyote is highly potent hallucinogen and will provide you with life-like hallucinations and visions during the trip. Mescaline Peyote is definitely not a party or social psychedelic. The Peyote is a true transformer of body and mind and is mainly intended for spiritual self-development and/or for detecting-or curing-diseases and ailments. Possible side effects of a trip on Mescaline Peyote may include cramps, nausea, vomiting and crying. These symptoms disappear within an hour or so of the trip.

  • Changes in perception
  • Increase in problem-solving abilities
  • High self-reflection of character, ego
  • Lifelike hallucinations and visions
  • Increase in sensory sensitivity
  • Distortion of objects
  • Manifestation of light visible in any person or object
  • Change of moods, laughing, crying, sad, happy

Correctly watering Peyote cactus

Correctly watering Peyote (Lophophora Williamsii) in a pot is essential for healthy growth and preventing root rot. Here is a detailed guide:

1. Water frequency

  • Spring & Summer: Water once every 2-3 weeks, depending on temperature and humidity. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again.
  • Autumn: Reduce frequency to once a month.
  • Winter (dormant period): Stop watering almost completely unless the cactus starts to shrivel. Then water a very small amount (a few drops per month).

2. How much water do you give?

  • Use demineralised or rainwater if possible, as tap water can contain lime that is harmful to the Peyote.
  • Water directly to the soil and avoid watering on the cactus itself, as this can cause rot.
  • Use the "soak and dry" method: pour water until it starts leaking from the bottom of the pot, and let the soil dry completely before watering again.

3. Climate and extra tips

  • Put the Peyote in half-sun to indirect light, as too much sun can cause burns.
  • If the humidity is high, reduce watering even further.
  • Watch for signs of overwatering: soft or yellow parts and a spongy feel of the cactus indicate root rot.

Peyote mescaline and the brain

Mescaline is a psychedelic alkaloid found in nature. The Mescaline alkaloid closely resembles the body's neurotransmitter epinephrine (adrenaline). Because of this similarity, its psychedelic chemical compound Mescaline can bind to the serotonin and dopamine receptors in the brain. This binding process causes the psychedelic and hallucinatory effects. Besides Mescaline, there are many other substances in the Peyote cactus that play a somewhat smaller but certainly active role after ingestion.

How to use Mescaline Peyote cactus

Of course, you can't consume Peyote cactus immediately upon ingestion. The Peyote will need to be processed and dried before it is ready for consumption. Cut the Peyote into small pieces and let them dry out thoroughly. Once dry, grind the pieces into a fine powder. The Peyote is now ready for consumption. The powder can be capsulated, chewed up or swallowed. For a 1 Person trip, you will need around a dose of 27 grams (300mg Mescaline) of dried Peyote.

Dosage dried Mescaline Peyote

14 - 27 grams (150 - 300mg Mescaline)light to medium dosage
27 - 36 grams (300 - 400mg Mescaline) strong trip, duration: 6 to 12 hours
40 - 45 grams (450 - 500mg Mescaline) extreme trip, possible dissolution of the ego, duration: +/- 12 hours
45 - 55 grams (500 - 600mg Mescaline) guaranteed dissolution of the ego, duration: +/- 24 hours

Caution!

The substance mescaline contained in the cactus can be hazardous to your health when combined with certain medications, alcohol or with MAOIs. Are you on medication? Always consult your doctor first and read the leaflet of your medication to avoid health risks. Also, do not use Peyote if you have mental problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Treat this unique cactus responsibly and therefore do not participate in traffic when using it.
