These 100% pure raw cocoa drops are made from high-quality Criollo cocoa beans from the Peruvian Amazon, the spiritual birthplace of cocoa. This premium cocoa variety is renowned for its rich chocolate flavour, smooth texture and refined aromas. The cocoa comes from Satipo, in the Junín region of Peru. It is sustainably grown by small local farmers who rely on cocoa as a key source of income and work using traditional and environmentally conscious methods.
The cocoa grows within agroforestry systems amongst trees and tropical plants, ensuring natural biodiversity and a lower environmental impact. The pure production process ensures that the natural properties of the cocoa are optimally preserved.
These raw cocoa drops consist of 100% pure cocoa with no additives, preservatives or other unnecessary ingredients. Thanks to the minimal processing, the cocoa retains its intense flavour and natural nutrients. Ideal for hot cocoa drinks, smoothies, recipes or a ceremonial moment.
100% raw cocoa nibs from Peru.
The cocoa drops are easy to measure out and melt. You can add them directly to hot drinks, smoothies, baked goods or other dishes.
To melt the cocoa, it is recommended to do so in a bain-marie or at a very low temperature, so that the cocoa retains its texture and flavour.
To make a hot cocoa drink, heat water or plant-based milk over a low heat. Then add the desired amount of cocoa drops and stir until they have completely dissolved. You may wish to add spices or natural sweeteners such as cinnamon, vanilla or chilli.
