Panaeolus Cyanescens (Jamaica) Liquid Culture Syringe
Spores Shrooms -> MUSHROOMS -> Liquid Culture SyringesPanaeolus cyanescens "Jamaica" Liquid Culture Spray contains a tropical mushroom species also known as Copelandia cyanescens. This species is known for its very strong effects and requires specific growing conditions. Because it has different requirements from the usual Psilocybe cubensis, it is especially suitable for experienced growers. This Jamaica variety, often called "Blue Meanies", turns intensely blue when touched. This is due to its high concentrations of psilocybin and psilocin, making it one of the most potent strains within its family. She is therefore highly sought after among researchers and collectors.
Genetic purity:
Professionally isolated and prepared under sterile conditions to minimise contamination risks. A rare and visually striking variety
On which substrate do we grow?
Suitable for manure-based substrate.
Use
Inoculating your substrate has never been easier. With a simple injection of Panaeolus cyanescens "Jamaica" Liquid Culture, you can watch the mycelial network multiply and transform your growing medium into a canvas on which mushrooms can flourish.
- Sterilisation or Pasteurisation
To grow Panaeolus cyanescens "Jamaica" Liquid Culture successfully, a clean and nutrient-rich substrate is essential. As this species grows mainly on manure, it is important to sterilise or pasteurise the substrate to kill unwanted bacteria and fungi.
Pasteurisation (recommended): Heat the substrate (such as horse or cow dung mixed with straw) to 60-70°C for 1-2 hours using steam or a hot water bath.
Sterilisation: Use an autoclave or pressure cooker to thoroughly sterilise the substrate, especially if using cereal substrates. - Inoculation of the substrate
After pasteurisation, let the substrate cool to room temperature. You can then use the Panaeolus cyanescens "Jamaica" Liquid Culture to inoculate the substrate. Use a sterile syringe to spread the liquid culture evenly over the manure-based substrate. Work in a clean, sterile environment to avoid contamination. - Incubation - Mycelium Colonisation
Now that the substrate has been inoculated, the mycelium needs time to disperse and fully colonise the substrate. Place the substrate in a dark and warm room with a temperature between 24-26°C. Within 10-14 days, the mycelium should become visible. Keep the substrate slightly moist, but avoid overwatering. - Fruit Formation - Optimal Growth Conditions
When the substrate is fully colonised, move it to an environment with the right conditions for mushroom growth:
Humidity: Maintain high humidity (90-95%) by misting regularly and providing adequate ventilation.
Temperature: Maintain a stable temperature between 22-26°C.
Lighting: Although Panaeolus cyanescens does not need intense light, indirect daylight or a weak grow light stimulates mushroom formation. - Harvesting - When are the mushrooms ready?
After 2-4 weeks, mushrooms begin to form. Panaeolus cyanescens "Jamaica" is known for its small but vigorous fruiting bodies with a thin stem and a curly cap.
