Mushroom Gummies Lion’s Mane – Mixed are gummies from Dr. Candy containing Lion’s Mane extract, a mushroom with the scientific name Hericium erinaceus. In Dutch, this mushroom is also known as ‘pruikzwam’. Each gummy contains 250 mg of Lion’s Mane extract; the mixed pack contains the flavours cherry, apple, cola, orange and blackberry.

What is Lion’s Mane?

Lion’s Mane grows on deciduous trees; in the Netherlands, it is mainly found on beech trees and occasionally on oak trees. The English name, ‘Lion’s Mane’, refers to the mushroom’s long, hanging spines. In Japan, it is called yamabushitake. In the Netherlands, the lion’s mane mushroom is quite rare.

Directions for use
