How do you harvest El Curandero magic mushrooms?

El Curandero is harvested slightly differently from many other magic mushroom varieties. Harvest when the veil beneath the cap begins to peel away on about two-thirds of the mushrooms.

Gently push the mushrooms sideways so that they come loose, rather than twisting them upwards. It’s best to start in the centre of the grow tray and work your way outwards slowly. Try to damage the top layer of substrate as little as possible so that subsequent flushes can develop properly.

How do you get multiple flushes from the El Curandero Grow Kit?

After each harvest, you can prepare the grow kit again for the next flush. Fill the grow tray with clean tap water, replace the lid and leave the kit to soak for around 12 hours.

Then drain off the excess water and start the grow cycle again following the instructions. Under good conditions, new buds will appear again after just a few days.

On average, 2 to 3 flushes are possible, depending on care and conditions.

How long does it take before you can harvest Curandero?

Under the right conditions, Curandero magic mushrooms can often be harvested within abouttwo weeks. The first buds usually appear after about a week, after which they continue to grow. The exact growth time depends on temperature, humidity and care.
