The Psilocybe Cubensis Blue Magnolia strain is known for its exceptional potency and distinctive blue-tinged hats, which are characteristic of the strain's unique biochemical properties. Blue Magnolia is a rare and highly sought-after variety, prized for its fast-growing mycelium and strong, consistent colonisation.

Our 10ml Blue Magnolia liquid culture syringe is prepared in a sterile environment to ensure the highest level of purity and minimise the risk of contamination. Whether you are a novice grower or an advanced researcher, this culture offers a reliable and high-quality solution for your culture projects.

With its adaptability to a wide range of substrates, Blue Magnolia is a fantastic option for those looking to grow a rare, potent and visually striking strain.

Main characteristics

  • Strain: Psilocybe Cubensis Blue Magnolia - a rare and potent strain with blue-tinged caps.
  • Volume: 10 ml sterile syringe with nutrient-rich liquid culture.
  • Purity: Professionally isolated and prepared under sterile conditions for reliable and consistent growth.

What you need to grow mushrooms

  1. Grain (nutrition): Mushrooms need a source of nutrients to grow. Grain such as rye or maize is often used as it is rich in carbohydrates and other nutrients that are essential for the growth of the mycelium (the root structure of the mushroom).
  2. Substrate (soil): The substrate provides physical support for the mycelium and helps with water retention. This can be, for example, wood, straw, sawdust or any other organic material in which the mycelium can grow. The substrate should be sterile or well-treated to avoid unwanted bacteria and fungi.
  3. Culture (the mycelium or spores): This is the biological basis of the mushroom. The mycelium is the vegetative form of the mushroom and grows through the substrate to form the mushroom. It can be bought as 'liquid culture' or home-grown from spores. (We recommend liquid culture)
  4. You can grow mushrooms with these three components, depending on the kind you want to grow.

Humidity and hygiene

The process requires careful control of factors such as temperature, humidity and hygiene to achieve a successful harvest.

Humidity: You maintain humidity by growing mushrooms in a bag or monotub. This ensures the substrate stays moist, which is important for the mushrooms' growth.

Hygiene: To prevent contamination, we work with an injection port on the bags. This makes it easy to inject the mycelium (the "seeds" of the mushroom) into the bag without the need for a special clean room. Customers should only use a clean needle to ensure everything remains hygienic.
