The Unicorn Bag for Mushroom Spawn is perfect for anyone who wants to grow their own magic mushrooms, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience. Thanks to its clever design and high-quality materials, you can easily create the ideal environment for your own growing project.

Features

These sturdy grow bags are made from 3 mil thick polypropylene and are designed to withstand heat and pressure up to 120°C. This makes them suitable for steam sterilisation (autoclaving) and means they can be used multiple times.

The integrated filter patch ensures optimal gas exchange, whilst keeping out unwanted contaminants. This creates an ideal environment for the development of mycelium.

Available in two sizes:

• 4T (10 x 7.5 x 45 cm) – capacity just under 1 kg / 1000 cc

• 10T (12 x 10 x 45 cm) – capacity approx. 2 kg / 2000 cc

Whether you want to start small or grow a larger quantity, there is always a size to suit your plans.

Ingredients and/or composition

The bags are made from sturdy polypropylene (3 mil thick) and feature a high-quality filter patch for gas exchange. They do not contain substrate, spores or mycelium; you add these yourself.

Use

Fill the bag with a suitable substrate and sterilise it if necessary. Once the substrate has cooled, you can inoculate it with spores, liquid mycelium or grain spawn using a sterile procedure. Then seal the bag tightly and place it in a suitable location for colonisation.

Thanks to the filter patch, the interior remains protected from contamination whilst allowing sufficient air exchange. The bags can be reused several times, provided they are cleaned and treated correctly.

Available in 4T (±1 kg) and 10T (±2 kg). Both bags are 45 cm long and provide sufficient space for successful mushroom cultivation.
