Reviews

The Natalensis Super Strain Liquid Culture Syringe contains the Psilocybe ochraceocentrata strain and is a real powerhouse when it comes to growing ease and yield. This unique strain is known for its fast and consistent growth. Because of the isolated genetics and reclassification, you can be sure that you are dealing with top quality. Perfect for your next growing project! The mushrooms often have a light brown to caramel-coloured cap, which turns slightly darker towards the middle. The stem is firm and white with sometimes a slight blue discolouration when touched, indicating the presence of psilocybin.

Genetic purity:

Professionally isolated and prepared under sterile conditions to minimise contamination risks.

What substrate do we grow on?

Brown rice flour (BRF) cakes

  • Classic choice for beginners (PF Tek).
  • Simple to make, good yield.
  • Recipe: brown rice flour + vermiculite + water.

Coconut fibre (Coco Coir) + Vermiculite

  • Favourite among bulk growers.
  • Holds moisture well and is easily available.
  • Often combined with horse manure or straw for extra nutrients.

Horse or cow manure (pasteurised)

  • More natural nutrition, creates larger and more vigorous fruits.
  • Ideal for experienced growers or those seeking maximum yield.

Use

Inoculating your substrate has never been easier. With a simple injection of Natalensis Super Strain Liquid Culture, you can watch the mycelial network multiply and transform your growing medium into a canvas on which mushrooms can flourish.

  1. Sterilisation: Sterilise the substrate mixture to kill off any harmful bacteria and fungi that may hinder mushroom growth. This can be done by heating the substrate mixture in an autoclave or pasteurising it using steam.
  2. Substrate inoculation: Start by preparing the substrate. Make sure the substrate is moist but not soaked. Then grab the spore syringe with the ochraceocentrata spores.

  3. Inoculation process: Shake the spore syringe with the mushroom spores well to make sure the spores are evenly distributed. Then use the syringe to distribute the spores evenly across the substrate. This can be done by applying small amounts of spores at different spots on the substrate.

  4. Incubation: After the substrate has been inoculated with the mushroom spores, it is time to incubate the substrate. Place the substrate in a dark and warm room with a constant temperature between 26-28°C. This promotes colonisation of the substrate by the mushroom spores.

  5. Growth and harvest: After a few weeks, the mushroom spores should begin to colonise and develop into mushrooms. Keep checking the substrate for humidity and any signs of contamination. Once the mushrooms are fully developed, they can be harvested for consumption.
