Mushroom Gummies Chaga – Mixed are gummies from Dr. Candy containing chaga extract, a fungus with the scientific name Inonotus obliquus. In Dutch, this fungus is also known as the birch polypore. Each gummy contains 250 mg of chaga extract; the mixed pack contains the flavours blueberry, pineapple, orange, apple and cherry.

What is chaga?

Chaga grows mainly on birch trees in the colder regions of the northern hemisphere. What you see on the trunk is a black lump that resembles burnt charcoal. The name comes via Russian from the Komi language, spoken west of the Urals, where it means ‘mushroom’. Traditionally, chaga is finely grated and brewed as a tea.
