What is the plant spray bottle used for?

What is the scalpel used for?

The scalpel is designed for tasks requiring precise and clean cutting. Thanks to its sharp blade, you can work with precision without unnecessarily pulling or tearing materials.

Touch the cutting edge as little as possible and handle the blade with care. A scalpel is extremely sharp and must always be kept out of reach of children.

When should you use the heating mat?

The heating mat can provide extra warmth if the room where the grow kit is located is too cold. A stable ambient temperature is important for the even development of the mycelium.

Never place a grow kit directly on the heating mat. Direct contact can cause excessive localised heat. Therefore, ensure there is sufficient distance between the mat and the grow kit and check the temperature regularly.

Is the room temperature already suitable for your grow kit? If so, it is usually not necessary to use the heating mat.

What is the face mask used for?

The face mask supplied can help you work more hygienically when you are working close to an open grow kit. It limits direct contact between exhaled air and the growing surface.

Combine the use of a face mask with clean hands, a clean work surface and as little unnecessary contact with the grow kit as possible.

Why do you use sterile gloves?

Sterile gloves allow you to handle the grow kit and associated materials more hygienically. Put the gloves on with clean, dry hands and then touch as few surfaces as possible that are not related to the growing process.

Gloves are no substitute for good hygiene. You should therefore also clean your work surface before you start using the grow kit.

Why is hygiene important when using a grow kit?

A grow kit contains live mycelium. During the cultivation process, it is therefore important to prevent unnecessary contamination as much as possible. Dirty hands, used materials or frequent touching can increase the risk of unwanted microorganisms coming into contact with the grow kit.
